Production

Nuestro Buey uses a traditional free range rearing system, based on grazing pastures and attaining finished weight in the Comfortable Finishing Centres (CFCs) developed by our company. This implies an impeccable choice and control of rearing grounds throughout all stages of the process, as well as strict selection of the appropriate animals for the Nuestro Buey brand.

Food safety, microbiologic and nutritional analysis, both of the feed and pastures for our animals and of the end products reaching consumers, are our day-to-day concerns.

Animal welfare: Our animals spend 90% of their lives in freedom, feeding exclusively on natural pastures, and are subsequently moved to what we call the "Comfortable Finishing Centres". These centres use finishing systems in which the animals are given a food supplement based on hay and cereals, easy access to water, shade and shelter, avoiding any kind of stress and suffering, in a healthy environment and preventing any negative effects on the final product.

Total traceability Cabaña Santa Rosalía controls the complete production process by means of electronic and DNA procedures.
